My Super 88 1955 model has been repainted once that I could tell and is dark green like the paint you buy in stores and like most other Ollies I have seen. What my question was:was there light green Super 88's?Mine is light green behind the live pto and under the hood and behind lots of tight spaces where the paint gun couldn't reach, that had me wondering if it wasn't that color from the factory.Any help appreciated, thanks guys,Jack(TN).

There's been many shades/variations used but you need Oliver Meadow Green paint. You can find this green at Agco dealer,TSC,Fleet Farm, etc. Paint codes are on the menu on the left of this page. If your Super 88 is a 55' model the wheels should be green also. Later models went back to the red wheels.

Well from what I understand the Oliver like yours should be a light green. The dark green is for the older hart-parr type and very early Olivers. Now I could be very wrong on this but I know I painted my S88 last year the lighter color and it macthed all the others at the local show last year.
