I have removed the shell with the shifters on it on my Super 88 HydraLectric. The valve body is still there.Does this come off without removing the whole aluminum plate with the shifter in it?I was wanting to put a cover in the valve body's place.Am I going to have to put it back together until I get a cover off an 88 w/o hydraulics? Thanks.

JAK,
The shifter has to come out, then the ENTIRE hydraulic unit. You already have the PTO out,so it will lift right out.If putting in an aluminum plate in it's place, you'll need to have that first or you won't be able to move tractor, because of no shifter mounting boss.~brad
