where can you get crankshaft seals for a 1950 77 ? or can the old ones be repaired? or can you use lip seals? thanks ACWC

Call Korves Oliver. They have the lip seal style for less than $10, I think. You have to remove the crank shaft pulley. You don't have to remove the front cover and it goes right in place of the felt washer on the outside of the cover. Works great and very inexpensive.

I have the seal retainers that use the lip style seal and new seals for $35.00. 712-324-2760

I got tired of hunting the cork face seals

so I built a seal retainer to hold a standard

oil seal.

I was wondering if there is a market for

the retainers , if so i can set up an make

some.
