When I put the rearend back togather on my 1850, can I turn the bull gears around to run on the better side of the tooth surface? Or would it be better if I just put it back togather the way it came apart?
Thanks, Jack

Jack--You could turn the bull gears around so you now run on virtually unused tooth surfaces. It would be better yet if you changed the bull pinions from side to side, also. This would be best as far as surface fatique life goes. Good question!!
