Thought you guys might like to see the old thing back in the day. The summer before he died something just got to him and he just had to get rid of it. Sold it for $750 back in 93, No idea who bought it, wish I could track it down but I've got no leads.

Reminds me of how good I've got it. Actually, I think those are the days to live in, now you've got to do so much more to make a living. Thanks so much for the pics, wish I had some I could share back.

GREAT PICTURE, MY GRANDPA'S 1ST TRACTOR (70)WAS IDENTICAL TO YOUR GRANDFATHERS. GRANDPA'S WAS ON TIP TOE STEEL, I REMEMBER DAD GRUMBLING ABOUT HAVING TO PUT BANDS ON THE REAR WHEELS WHEN THEY DROVE ON NEW SEEDING. ABOUT YOUR GRANDPAS 70, THE LAST 2 TO 3 YEARS I HAVE SEEN A 70 AT THE CHILTON SHOW I BELEIVE SOMEONE NEAR POTTER OR HILBERT OWNS IT. ALSO IF YOU GET A CHANCE THERE IS A GENTELMEN IN CALUMETVILLE WHO JOCKEY'S TRACTORS, MIGHT WANT TO SEE IF HE POSSIBLE BOUGHT IT. GREAT JOB ON YOUR RESTOR JOB, IAM STILL WORKING ON MY 1800 A, ALSO WORKING ON MY MASSEY 44-6

I'll have to look into that this year, and I'll definately have to get my 1600 out to that show. My brother's Buddie's dad (I know, great line aint it?)drives truck for Vanderloop Equipment, and he loves tractor pulls and such so I definatley have a ride to that show and also the pull during the fair if I can go to it.

Here is a picture of the 77 that my dad traded along w/ the Super C for our 285. The rest are over in the vintage photos.

A little more on the 70- My grandpa must have had a full set of steel and rubber for it because when he sold it, it had the spider wheels on the back and rubber fronts on it. The rear rubber was in the shed, but I never saw the steel fronts before this picture.

Donovan, Your Grandad would be proud as heck about the work you do. I see it's in your blood by the looks of the photo!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Got any more you can share with us?

Wow what a load of hay!!!!

Great picture thanks for sharing, too bad you dont have that tractor anymore.

I have a 1950 MM ZAU tractor that my grandad purchased new in 1950. It has a lot of history around the farm and it is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Maybe you can find it one day.
