To All Of You Keyboard Oliver experts: I posted two weeks ago with a legitimate question on 1550 tractors. Not a single response; posted Oliver gang, no response. Posted Larry Harsin site, no response. Afraid to help the new kid on the block? Tractor is now long gone, and I think we all missed a bargin; or maybe one of you experts has it in his shed by now.

I owe Larry Harsin an apology, he did reply. I assumed he would email me. We all know what assume does. I thought I had a catchy name. My Olivers are used for play farming. I currently have a 74 550, 65 770; maybe someday I can find that free 99 GM. Larry Harsin, I'm sorry. Crstbstr

I am not one of the experts, but when you post you can only hope that someone who knows happens to see your post and can answer. Sometimes that doesn't happen. It is kind of frustratring, especially if you are in a hurry to get a reply and it doesn't happen. It is good to post on Larry's, The Oliver Gang, and the HPOCA, but this one does seem to get the most posts. If you really want to get a response post, "Free Super 99 GM, restored to original, will haul for free anywhere in North America." I am almost sure that you will get quite a bit wider group of interested Oliver people and more responses.

Well, I feel as thought I am a bit more then a keyboard expert, along with some of the other guys on here, but never the less, I guess any LP gas tractor dont interest me, and maybe thats why no one really replied. I highly doubt your thought of the new kid on the block notion though- we all start somewhere, and welcome to the Oliver board. One thought- get a catchy name- you will catch on fast;) Have a good one.

I have no idea how many were made. Value depends on condition, condition, condition. If it is in good condition and complete, I'd say it is worth $3000 - $4500. Larry

Is this yours?

By the way 1550 made from 1965-1969
SN begining in 1965 157841
SN begining in 1969 213243
