Iwas draining the gear case on our 2255 today,When I pulled the screened plug out i thought something hit my hand, but i looked around and didn't see anything,i thought it could have been a chunk of grease. I ran a magnet around the bucket and got nothing.so as i was sweeping up under the tire i found a 1/4" ball bearing and a sleeve about 1/2" tall with three holes spaced evenly around it.diameter is just small enough to fit inside the screen tube.could this be a broken check valve or some other internal component or maybe it's shop debris.the tractor only has 2800hrs on it and hasn't made any bad sounds or vibrations in the time we've had it,also there was no junk on any of the other magnets/plugs.thanks for any help!

I don,t have the serial # handy but it is a 1973 that came with a 3150 and the dash pedestal is welded rather than bolted to the floor frame if this helps.thanks
