88 Belt Pulley Gearbox Removal

Can you get the belt pulley gearbox out of an 88 without pulling the motor? It looks like close quarters in there but I think it can be done. I guess I need to find the part to replace it first. Got some hits on the classified section. Waiting on next payday. Thanks.

Yes you can.I've done it both ways,and I think It's easier taking the dash console away than pulling motor.Every thing is right there once console is out.~brad
