we are starting to go through our 2255 to clean it up and paint it.Someone has put a 3208 (most likely a truck motor) in place of a 3150 that was preheated then ethered...boom.The front cover is missing some fittings that go from the overflow tank to the front cover and all the brackets for the a/c pump.I recently looked at a 2-180 ser. 3 white, the a/c pump and bracket off of that looks like it would work.If anyone could post a close up of an original 2255 with a 3208 so i can see how it is supposed to look i would greatly appreciate it.also if anyone has the a/c parts (pump, bracket)i would be interested in purchasing.thanks for any help!

I'm doing a similiar thing putting a 3208 in place of a 3150. The only thing you need for the expansion tank is the long elbow that attaches where about an inch plug was. The plug is just to the left and a little above the water pump when looking at the front. Can't help you out with the A/C brackets. Our cabbed 2255 doesn't have A/C although there are some pictures on a website of the V-8 puller with factory pics although they are not real close up. I'm pretty sure the pump mounts on the right top of the engine when viewed sitting in the seat. Some problems I ran into so far was the need to run a wire for the fuel shut off and the fuel filter bracket. The major problem was the top four 1/2 bellhousing bolts with the newer 3208's. The fuel tank wouldn't fit into place. I ended up grinding and cutting these bosses about 1 1/2 inches so the fuel tank bracket. Your 3208 may not have these on. The 3208 in our cabbed 2255 didn't since it is older engine. The hydraulic circulation pump mounted up beautifully. I assume yours is an older 2255 with it on too. I still have a lot of finishing up to do yet.
