Where is the best place to get a few misc gaskets for this diesel engine? I have a few numbers AGCO dealers say are Obsolete. 166881A 166713A. etc. I know some were buying GOV motors. I would assume the Gov would have a source for the Herc gaskets. Thanks!

I am building a pulling tractor with a Hercules d 5000 motor which is almost identical to the d 4800. I bought a gasket set from a guy that used to work at the Hercules engine plant. He must have a hundred pieces of every gasket in that engine. If you want, I can give you his phone number. I don't think he has internet access.

First of all, what is the application of these gaskets? Have they been replaced by a 40-dash number?
