After reading all of your earlier postings, it seems my old Oliver really IS a mixmaster. Here are the various stampings found on the tractor so all you can help be identify it more precisely. This stamping is on the bottom of the frame just ahead of the rearend.
Thanks a bunch!
Ray

First of all when the 88 was introduced all the PTO handles were on the left side. Yours is an early one as it has the cast handle. Did you find holes where the serial number was attached to the transmission case. When you take the bull gear cover off to braze the four cracks to fix the leaks count the number of teeth on the ring & pion. You did not answer me if you have the hour meter pad by the distributor. If you do not the block was made before Feb. of 52. You talk abot 880 wheels and I laughed. How about a casting number. Tires and wheel can be changed all the time We made A super 88 and a Fleetline 77 out of left over parts one time. Questions?

Sorry. There's no pad by the distributer, just the small flat part next to the alternator, so it must be an early one. If it is a Fleetline motor, it still dynos at around 54hp. So just what are these four leaks that need to be brazed? As for the 880 wheels, they were white when I got the tractor, and since everything else seemed to be the original color, I assumed they were from an 880. Thanks again!

Judging from the brake pedal you have a 1950 or earlier 88. The engine casting number says it's an 88. The K100 on the axle housing says 88.

My guess is you have an Oliver 88. But that is just a guess ;)

Should be the front right engine block, just behind the fan. I'm still learning how to post photos. Pardon my posting them one at a time, but I couldn't figure out how to link my album. Please bear with me..
