What is involved in rebuilding the front differential on a 2255? That is a Clark, is that right? Is this unique to Oliver or did other machinery use this MFWD unit? How hard will it be to get parts for?

Talk to Rudy out at Maibach tractor in Creston Ohio, they have new and aftermarket parts for the MFWA Olivers. 800-808-9934

Clark is now under the Dana umbrella. Let me dig into that a little bit as at least when I left the Clark parts for distribution were handled out of Crossville. I will tell you this all the old Clark people that were around when the 2255 was built are not around now. I went through that with the Clark transmission used in the 440 & OC4. FYI they built those units till in the mid 70's so we are in the same time frame.

I heard that you could buy parts directly from Clark, reasonably, but you have to have the Clark part numbers. You might try them.

I would get ahold of Boyce Equipment in Utah before contacting any Agco dealer. The Clark axle was used in abundance in Military vehicles...I certainly would try there, Agco is way off base with their prices. Good luck, Marc
