Some one may know if clarke axels out of army 21/2 ton will fit in the clarke FWD Oliver tractors and if so where can you find some.Reason I ask their was a 1950 for sale on ebay a while back and the guy mentioned in his discription of the tractor about military axels being used in it.Have a 105 in need of one.

I think White-Oliver used the Clark 8000 axle. The article in the HPOCA mag mentioned that the military did not use the outboard planetary. I really don't know what the military versions were like.

Well I am going to give you a political answer. No I don't know. Here comes the Political part. Clark axle is part of Dana now. I used to work for Dana but they sold off my part so I don't have access to some good contacts of which most of have retired by now. But I can probably get an answer but I need some help from you. I need to know the Clark model from you or any forging numbers, etc. Then I can do some checking. As far as finding used Military axles, in your neighborhood, don't know in my area, how many places do you want me to call? One and that would be the second guy I would call is also a Dana distributor, He is a smart enough of a businesman to know if you call him you need one and he will will not give it away. Now you know why I said this is a political (B-S) answer. Let me know I will do for you what I can and this will not be a one day thing.
