will an oil pan from a 55 work on a 66?

Yes it will. A slight change was made in the 4 cylinder pan whe the Super 55 was introduced. This pan will fit a 66 and was offered as the replacement pan for the 66 tractors. There will be a little trouble putting a 66 pan on a Super 55. Questions? don a 77 is a six cylinder.

I don't think so. They are 2 completely different beasts, maybe a 77 would fit but I'd say no on the 55.

The 55 is a lower slung utility type tractor, and the 66-on up are more row-crop.
