I changed to filter and fluid ( it was slow before) the three point seems to work better after I changed to fluid. But the remotes are still slow. I put a gauge in the remotes at idle I have no pressure at 2500 rpms I have 1800 psi at 1500 rpms I have 1000 psi. But what is really strange is when I have a gauge pluged into the remote I will get a pressure indication no matter which lever I pull. So if I have the gauge in the remote on the left side and I stroke the lever for the right side remote I get pressure at the gauge. Do I have a bad o ring?Any ideas? I have shimmed the relief valve. Thanks

To start with I need some other information. Some of the 1950T models had a Vickers vane pump some a Cessna gear pump, so how about a serial number. Also attach an 8 inch stroke cylinder. Run the engine say at 1500 RPM and tell me how long it takes to extend the cylinder. If you can describe the cylinder or know the bore of the cylinder I also need that. The steering receves flow first. How is the steering, do you have power steering at an idle? I take it you plugged the gauge in in one of the remote cylinder ports. Start there. Questions?
