Need a rear light weight hub for a 990 oliver with a 34 inch wheel, got one damaged. Do any other tractors use the same rear hub as the 990,99,or mf 98.

That's a good sized chunk of iron. I've heard of them getting broken during removel. How did it get damaged?

The hub was bought from michigan and was supposed to be good,i live in delaware, and when it arrived i casually inspected it and the other one, then when it was cleaned up to use ,2 years later, the wheel had been run loose , and the hub and keyway where inlarged and damaged inside. Scott do any other tractor wheels fit 990 or mf98, in this area light cast hubs are hard to find?

Light weight Super 99 hubs are a hard to find anywhere you live. I considered buying a set of hubs from Michigan a few years ago. Possibly the same ones. I bought a 6 cylinder Super 99 with light hubs and swapped the hubs instead. Then I sold the 6 cylinder Super 99. Getting the heavy hubs off is a nightmare. I don't think there are any other wheel hubs that are the same or will even fit. The hubs and axles are a tapered fit. I believe they might still work even with a certain amount of damage. Possibly a machine shop could dress them up a bit. There have been a couple of guys that have custom made light wheel hubs with a flange for bolting up a standard 9 bolt pressed steel wheel for the ultimate in light weight hubs. Even the light weight hubs weigh 400 pounds each.
