I have two gas 880"s. I have overhauled both engines. The first has a very quick governor and is quick to kick in under load. The second 880 governor kicks in, but is more sluggish. I have adjusted both tractor"s linkages by the book and tweaked the carb to fit each. I have not taken apart the governor housing"s on either. Any body have words of advice on what to do with governor"s? Any body know governor"s well?
