I am sure you Oliver guy's check out the Oliver Heritage Magazine. This last issue features some great infromation on the Oliver line of wagon running gears. I have the model 500 and it says it was made by the Electric Wheel Company and is a 3 ton high clearance fith wheel design. I need help with the color of this unit when it ws new so I can restore it--any and all help appreciated--Thanks Jerry

Jerry More than likley the wagon was painted red with red wheels. However in the mid 50's they started painting them green with red wheels. Then about the same time as the 880's came out they started painting them green with white wheels.

I guess it's your choice. Paint it any color you want.
