88 Hydraulic Unit Strange Valve Help

I forgot to mention this in the last post. The 88 I just got has a strange valve on the back side (facing your feet) of the hydraulic unit. It is down at the very bottom of the base plate of the unit. It is hex shaped and has a small "T" shaped handle made from a roll pin. It turns like it is some sort of adjustment. All of our other Olivers just have a plug in the hole. My first thought was a flow control to regulate speed of operation on the cylinders. Those valves are on each side of the unit where the hoses hook up. I though about a relief valve of some sort but I sure wouldn't want it pointing at my feet. I don't know what it is for other than another place to leak oil.

By the way, the loader operates off of the levers on the tractor, not off of a separate valve. I would appreciate any info.

That is an adjustable relief valve. It was an option. It is a pressure control not a flow control. The plug you talk about has a stem on it that is the guide for the relief valve spring. Questions?
