Is the 3150 a good motor or is it better to find a 3208?

From what I've seen a stock 3150 will out last a 3208. I have a 3150 in a 2255 and have good luck with it.

My father purchased one brand new w/ 3150. We ran it hard for 10 years with no engine problems. Wish I had it now. Better jump on it, they are becoming collectible and few and far between.

Got one of each, both purchased used. The 3150 has had new bearings put in around 6000 hours and is now at almost 11000 hours. The 3208 sprung a leak on the inside and I ended up putting a rebuilt in. The 3150 is still at or around original hp specs but we goosed the rebuilt 3208 up to 210. The 3150 seems to be a good motor while the early 3208's may have had problems.
