I was wondering if it is possible to put a 5.9 cummins conversion kit in my Cockshutt 770. If so, what is involved?

Best to drop that idea, and besides, there arent that many Cockshutt 770's in the world...if you no longer need it, I am sure someone will take it off your hands for a fair price.

Mike is correct, that engine has way too much torque and horsepower for the gear train and final drive on a 770, plus all the other complications. Not a good idea.

Jack up the radiator cap on the 770, put an 1850 under it, and then get to work on the conversion.
