this week getting the no-till drill hooked up and just couldn't pass up the opportunity to line the tractors up for a picture. 2255 is closest then the 1855 and the 1655 is on the end. 2255 sure does pull that 12 foot no-till drill easy--15 acres in about 3 hours. Took 2 hours to do the first 6 acres with the 1855.

Change subject--found out how to get to the windshield wiper on the cab. Two bolts just inside the windshield release the roof which then hinges back; at least enough to get to the wiper motor.

Nice looking rigs Dave. Hope to have a picture of mine up soon. Are any of them high speed?

Couple of questions if you don't mind. Are the sheet metal panel that extend out around the engine on the 2255 white? Are those rear wheel weights for a 2255?

Yes those extended sheet metyal panels are white which doesn't seem to have been orginal. From what I can gather the 2255 came with those panels in green.

The hubs are for attaching the duals. They're heavy enough to make you think they are weights but that's not the purpose. I have the wheels for the duals just need to get tires and mount them. In our soft ground the added floatation will help control uneven ground.

we dont know yet--- were still trying to pick corn so it got moved off to the side of the lane until we can get a look.

It still runs (sounds good) just was having problems getting the vac to move grain fast enoug

we put an 8160MF on it... it took 1hr to unload the semi last night.. the night before with the 1955 it was 3hrs...

Did you replace the fuel filter(s) yet? This spring I was having problems w/ our 1855 not getting any power. It was a combination of a hole in the Turbo adapter, bad injector, and clogged filter, the filter being the worst cause of all of my problems. It would do the job, but it would bog down to about 1600 RPM's and hold there, sometimes dip even lower. At first I thoguth no-way it could be the filter because it only had 100 hours on it, but on a hunch I made a mad-dash to the dealer before they closed to get a new one. I plowed the rest of the day w/out any problems.
