I found a 550Ind gas tractor with a shermann backhoe at a auction that is coming up this week. I would like to know what this tractor is worth. The serial is as follows 45-0477 mn? and 112074583 the backhoe numbers are 1258 and 52128. any information would be helpful. tractor was used as a grave digger in a cematery for a couple of years and at one point had a cab. the owner said he took the cab off but still has it.

I bought a 2-44LL (550) with a 613 backhoe at a auction this last saturday. I paid $2000.00 for it and am real happy so far. The engine needs a tune up, a new choke cable etc. It was orginally painted Oliver Industrial yellow, but is painted orange now.

The reason I was able to get it that cheap was it was not advertised, and it was not at a farm or industrial equipment auction.

Like I said, I think I was luckey to get it at that price as i think it would have went for twice that had it been advertised.

I have one and it is quite handy and surprisingly powerful for it's size. What I paid for mine and what I see them sell for on Ebay are about the same or a little more than a good straight 550. From $3500 in decent shape to $6500 in great shape.
