I have oliver 880 standard. I am setting up for pulling. I am going get a cast aluminum plate on it. How hard to get hyd. unit off. There is transmission shifter is on hyd. unit plate, how do I get this off? Do I have to get spacer for shifter on alum. plate? My 880 has a power booster, Will it be a problem without hyd. unit?

Thanks
Tracy

On ours we pulled P.T.O. and took hyd. pump off btm. and resovoir/valve asembly off the top and capped top with a pc. of aluminum plate, still retaining the center section of the unit that the shifter goes into.(which is made from alum. any way) No it has nothing to do with the power booster. I am not sure about spacer if you use a cast alum. plate.
