Hi...I've got a running 1939 Cletrac (Oliver) EHD 262 in se Penn. a customer wants me to sell. Is the H stand for Hillside or he was told by everyone till now it means High Crop. It isn't that high off the ground like the ones I've seen sold. Here is a picture at this link or there should be a link at the bottom too-http://greenacresequipment.com/cletrac.htm The diesel was replaced by a 6 cyl. Continental gas engine at some point apparently if that's what the D stands for? And has anyone seen the value of a running original Cletrac EHD recently? thanks! Also if anyone knows the history of the Cletrac high crops I'd be interested since I couldn't find it on a search. Like were they shipped from the factory with a high crop model designation of some sort like H also, or were they done as high crop conversions later on like on alot of Ford tractors? I'll put a picture of a original "high crop" on that website link from one sold recently, but if anyone has a picture or two of other Cletrac High Crops I'd be interested, or could post those too.
