OK guys , take a good look at this tractor. Mounting blocks on frame shows it is at least a super series. Prominent bull gear cover shows it is either super 88 or 880. The dash shows it is the super 88. All other sheet metal , including fenders point to 880. Grill is late 770. I would say this tractor is an oliver super 88 w/880 sheet metal , and 770 grill. What do you think?

the fenders could be off of a late model super series,I know 57 and 58 supers had the raised oliver script ,and the 54 and 55 supers didn't have it,but anyway could be off of a late model super 77 or 88

I would call the buyer of this tractor a fool, because who knows whats exactly there. You have alot of good points on whats all on there, and frankly, I would pitty the fool(Mr. T's line) that would buy this tractor.

Maybe a scrap yard put togeather. Or as they call them on the Ford N board a Mutt. Sounds like some one took a couple tractors and made one from them. Since I haven't looked this is just a guess

According to the ebay ad it is a Super 88 with 770 and 880 sheetmetal.

770 and 880 used the same size sheetmetal and the 88/Super88 used the same frame dimensions as the 880 therefore the sheet metal will all fit.

Doesn't sound like too bad a price for the unit although it does have the wrong sheet metal on it. Considering the the conditon of all that is there and that fact that it is still an Oliver, that CAN'T be bad. She just has on the wrong "coat". ;)

thats a 770 oliver with a 77-88 dash and a 880 motor in it. Notice the smaller rear axles. Air breather and manifolds tell me its 880 engine, but they fit into a 770 real easy. Everything but the dash and the motor is 770 for sure. Nice lookin old girl, probably not a bad deal at that price.
