I have a book that shows a 1949. The 1948 and 1949 were the only years that had the yellow stripe on the top of the grill. The letters "row crop" on the rear axle are yellow, the wheels are red and the center stripe on the grill is red, as is the 77 at the front. The decals "Row Crop 77 are on the upper rear corner of the side curtains and the Hart Parr logo is at the bottom, but only on teh left side curtain. The book I got this out of is the "Oliver Farm Tractors" by T.Herbert Morrell and Jeff Hackett.

Thankd for the info.. It helps alot. Now I got ot figure out about my decals. Unless mine have been altered I think the only thing on the read curtains was the number 77. I could be wrong and will have to get them out and look for sure but would this be a possibility?

All the pictures of the decals show either "Row Crop 77" or "Standard 77" If you can get a look at the book, I got mine at Barnes and Noble when I was in Bellingham, Washington one day. It has tons of colored pictures.
