Oliver 1250 engine removal

Have a 1250 Oliver W/Fiat gas and need to pull the engine. Only can get it about 1/4 inch away from bell housing and will not go any further. Have everything lose that I can see. Can someone tell me what is stopping it from coming all the way off?

did you remove the shaft in front of the
engine that goes to the pump?? also the frame
bolts go to the oil pan...jeff m

Thanks, Yes I have everything off in front of the engine and the oil pan is off, like I said,it does move ahead about 1/4" or a little more. Thanks, Jeff

sounds like the clutch plate is froze
on the shaft!!! keep rocking the engine,,
