Oil Filter Question for Oliver 60 ???

A friend just picked up a nice little Oliver 60 Standard but he feels that the oil filter setup on it is an add on. Does this engine have a FULL FLOW oil filtering system (somehow I doubt that) or a BYPASS system like most of the old stuff?

Could anyone out there post or direct me to a photo or one of those exploded parts diagrams which shows the stock original oil filter? Or maybe even describe it to me? Is it a thread-on style (like the little Allis' or Cases) or a drop-in cartridge filter or what?

Thanks for the help.

Yeah, only the oil that flows through the bypass circuit gets filtered. The filter is a spin on, but has the very course "fruit jar" threads. Another oddity is the small metal tube in the center of the filter mount that actually inserts into the filter material. The bypassed oil is discharged into the filter through this tube and then free flows through a port in the block back to the cranckcase.
