Help! Im tring to put a cummins 5.9 industrial into my 1855 rowcrop. I have replaced the tub with a 1850 tub. My problem is I am ready to put the three speed on but I need to find out how to handle PTO hub,chuch and pressure plate. The hub seams to hard to Machine. The Flywheel is one of a Dodge pickup is this the rite flywheel.
I can use any help i can get.

Hello. THe easiest way is to use clutch parts from a White 120 or 140. THese tractors used the 5.9L and the flywheel, clutch, and pto hub all interchange and will work with your pto shaft. To mount the motor you need a SAE #3 Clutch housing, that will bolt up to the 1850(Perkins) 3 speed bellhousing. Once all that is bolted together, you sit the engine in the tub and fabricate motor mounts that allow the correct angle. THe back mounts usually are blocks that bolt to side of the clutch housing and on top of the tub. THe front mount to the side of the motor and on top of the tub.. I don't think you can use the truck flywheel as it is not drilled for the pto hub to sit in it.. YOu might get it to work, but the White parts bolt right up. THe parts are cheaper from Cummins, but alot cheaper used. I have spent close to 10k and less than 5k using new -vs- used parts.. Good luck, and have FUN.. Marc

Thanks Marc I got the parts ordered today. Everything checked out just like you said. Im going to wait on the flywheel Im hoping to be able to Machine the hub step into it. This a grate site Im really glad a friend told me about it. The possibilities are end less.
