My 1650's diesel engine has been torn down and stripped to bare metal, and we all know this is an opportune time to paint it. I need to find a paint that will stand up to the heat produced by the engine and look like the rest of the 1650.

If anybody out there can recommend a paint that is identical or close to the "Cockshutt Orange", I 'd much appreciate being informed of it.

Thanks

I.V.K.

I repainted the engine on my ollie 1600 w/ the same centari paint as the rest of the tractor, w/ hardener like the rest of the tractor. So far, w/ 8 hrs on the engine, the paint is fine on the head so far.
