I went down for my second failed attempt to retrieve parts off of the 1550 (too wet to get the forklift back to it) and I noticed another Oliver has shown up!! Id plate has too much paint to read, but I am curios what model it is, I would guess its in the hundred series.
Diesel engine, rod sticking out through the camshaft, left side
Three point looks like an afterthought single cylinder right side, fixed width on lower arms with some type of quick connects, top link looks the same as my 1650 (case buster)
Single speed pto looks the same as the 1550
Two hydraulic controls on top of a tower under the steering column Trans shifter far right 6 speed split pattern, hyd. Filter directly in front of the shifter Three brake pedals, center one for both brakes
Tin cover over diff., extends out to become operator platform
Round fenders
Oliver and Rowcrop on both axle housings (can be read front or rear)
Narrow front
Does not look like it had a cast grill (gone now)
Only two large instruments (painted over)
Basically complete but for the grill, fuel tank, valve cover and rear wheels, did not notice an air filter
I wonder if this units parts have any value ( any excuse to drag more junk home)
Craig

It is either a 770 or 880 with a power traction hitch. Get the 3 casting numbers off the block. Also llok at the shift pattern The 880 tractors AFTER 1959 have reverse on the other side.

Also the draw bar went up and down with the lower arms.
