I am considering purchasing a Co-Op E3 with a loader. Do these tractors have a 3pt as well? Will the loader be capable of lifting a 12-1400 pound round bale on a weekly basis? I have always owned red and green tractors, but orange will be fine if it will fit my needs without risking damage to the tractor. I"d rather be over tractored than tear up a perfectly good piece of vintage equipment. Thanks for any help.

Edward1,

Paul and krm are providing good info. and advise. Look for a heavier, newer tractor with improved hydraulics for your big bale handling tasks.

That E-3/FEL combo probably does not weigh over 4500 pounds, unless ballasted with fluid in the tires and weights. Then it would only weigh in shy of 6000 pounds. I'd want a hole lot more iron to move such big bales. Don't have hydraulics or hitch on mine, so I can't comment on them.

I would be very surprised if a e-3 Co-op would handle a bale of that size.It would have to be a standard front axle and have a external hyd pump. The 3pt was an option on these tractors, but are hard to come by and are weak.
