Oliver 60 value?

I stopped today to look at a 60. It is in "working" condition. While the tires have seen better days, the tin is is decent shape, and I didn't see any leaks. The only thing that really concerned me was a missing shifter boot -- which, of course, could mean water in the tranny housing.

I haven't yet heard it run; my plan is to stop by tomorrow and talk to the owner.

Before I do that, though, I wanted to get a ballpark figure on the value of a 60. Good, running condition would bring about $600? More?

I have a 60RC that I bought a few years ago at auction for $1200. It was running, Tires fair, all sheet metal there. It needed the radiator fixed, general clean up and repainted.

Not many of them show up at auction, so it's a little difficult to determine a price range, but I would agree that $1000-$2000 would be "in the ballpark" for a good running unrestored example.

In my neck of the woods, more like $1,200 to $2,000. You can spend an easy $1,500 going over the motor and tires will set you back a cool $800 for the rears. They are expensive little tractors.

Regards, Tip

I bought one a while back in very good condition with all side panels, fenders, decent paint and, very good tires. Needs some govenor work. Paid $900.00 I thought that was a good buy.
