Lose the front tub maybe design a tube front to hold your motor must be stout enough to take twisting from the motor.

Would love to see your 2255 pullers. That"s the good kind of big green stuff.

I'd be happy to slim it down to 12,500 lbs. I don't think 12,500 lbs is even possible without going to a pressed steel center. I have seen some pictures of 2255s with a pressed steel center (between the planetary housing and the rim). Was this offered by Oliver for non row-crop applications possibly, as there doesn't appear to be any provision to adjust wheel spacing? For our farm stock classes, in order to use pressed steel to reduce weight, it had to be a factory option on that tractor.

Probably not. Use wheels off a 1070 case. They are a pressed steel 10 bolt rim.

I have mine down to 10,500. I made a set of rear rims and got rid of the cast centers. I installed a narrow front from a 1855. The cast nose is next to go. I hope to lose another 300 or so lbs. there.
