I want to replace the exhaust manifold on my Oliver Tractor but I am not sure what model I have. The specification number is 88-5056 and the serial number is 4 504 206. I believe it is a 88-Industrial but I am not 100% sure - can anyone confirm this?

Yes you have a 1954 model tractor. I am not sure of the spec number. I would look at a few other items. Now that makes no differences. I want to mention to you that the original 88 exhaust manifold was discontinued and the replacement was changed twice that I can remmebr. I am going by memory not a parts book. The original k-415? was replaced by a 106210a. That was replaced about the time the 1964 1600 tractors were introduced. This was a 15X XXXA part number. Right now I can not think of the part number. Since each manifold change was superior to the one it replaced the older designs were not furnished for repairs. Clear as mud? Questions?

Thank you for your reply.

I am not sure what you are telling me. Do I look for an 88 manifold that is an aftermarket replacement for the 1954 version or will any of the replacement models do the trick? I was trying ensure that if I ordered a manifold for the 88 and if my tractor is an 88 Industrial as I suspect, that I would not have to return it.

Thanks again.
