Looked at an engine today, the sheet metal looks like it sould be in a tractor instead of being a power plant. The serial number on the tag from the left front of the engine reads 603072. I looked in the serial number on this site and it seems to fit as being an engine from a 1941 oliver 60 am I right?? Thanks

Sounds right to me. It should be a 4 cylinder, overhead valve, Waukesha motor. I am in the process of rebuilding one if you need pictures etc.

Regards, Tip

This engine is stuck at this time but hasn't been stuck for very long, or at least that is what the guy says. I'm thinking about buying it to put in my cletrac HG since the engine thats in it isn't very good. A picture or 2 would be nice. E-mail is open by the way. Thanks
