What newer Oliver model combine replaced the 545? and wasn't the 545 the same as a 4296 MM?

Yes, the 545 was a 42 in. machine, same as the MM4296.

Will a cornhead off a 545 work on a 7600 Oliver model.

The 545 combine used the 500 series of corn head, and the 7600 used the 700 series of corn head.

The 500 series of corn heads had the feeder housing attached to it, and it would hook up just in front of the cylinder. Later they had a rube-goldburg hook up that they tried to pass as a quick hook up. But it was mostly a joke.

The 700 series were of the quick attach style with the feeder housing staying on the combine and the heads attaching on the outer end.

I do not think you could make a 500 series fit on a machine made for a 700 series.

With a 535 combine and a 7300 feeder housing you could, but you are asking about the 545 and 7600, and I think the answer is no.

I have a 7300 combine. What models came before/after it?

The 430 Combine, then the 535 and then the 7300
