A man wants me to do some work on an old Oliver tractor and I can't see and model number on the body. It think it is maybe a 60.70,66 or 77. It has a 6 cylinder diesel and dual hydraulics and three point hitch on a hyd cylinder lift setup. I am a heavy equipment mechanic but have never been around an Oliver tractor in my life.
I sure could use some pointers as to ID'ing this old beast. Any help and pointers appreciated.

Well,so far I can tell you it's not a 60,70,or a 66 because 60's & 70's didn't have diesel engines.It's not a 66 because they had 4 cyl. engines.What does the grille look like? Split halves or 1-piece?It sounds like a 770 or 880.Maybe a RC or super 77 or 88 W/add-on 3-point.J Schweibert can decipher this w/ engine block #'s.~brad
