I just bought a old Oliver 2 row corn planter earlier this week and I don't know anything about it. The serial number is 202-720. If anyone knows the model and the year I would be thankful for the help. I will be needing some parts down the road as well.

Thanks

Your planter was built in 1955. #101 thru #750 were built in 1955.

The model is the 202 number. It was still manufactured at the old springfield plant. Date wise I need to think on that a little bit.The 252 replaced it. Dates are from the mid 1950's for a "rough estimate" on the date. Questions?

I paid 100 dollars for it. All parts move and seems like it will work good. Only need one lid for one of the fertilizer hoppers and both fertilizer hoppers need a little fabrication to them. Their is a little rust on the bottom of them.

I know the wheels were red and most of the frame shows some of the green but are their any other colors to this? Like the clover white? I guess I need to know the color patterns of this model. I would also like to see a color picture of one also.

Thanks Brent
