Hercules 339?

Does anyone know, does a Hercules 3400 or D339 have 4 intake ports and 6 exhaust? Block number appears to be 40 300 7

YES, you are right on the port counts for a Hercules D339H series engine that is used in the COCKSHUTT 570 Super. The Hercules DD298, used in the COCKSHUTT 570D , also uses the same port configuation. I checked the block casting numbers on one of my 570S tractors. The numbers behind the generator are E293 400D.
