Well, we took a good look at my 1800 and discovered that the bearing in the WATER PUMP was bad. Which is much better than haveing a spun rod bearing, but now I need to find a replacement water pump. Can any of you give me some leads? I am in Central Iowa.

Jim

I have a kit for one. You can rebuild it or send it to me to have it rebuilt. I live by Hospers, IA Call 712-324-2760 if interested.

I take my water pumps into my local driveline repair shop. I usually have the pump back the same day. Call a local HD repair shop and find out where they get theirs fixed.

Glad to here that was all it was. You might also try MabiachTractor (if I spelled it right) I dont have the number handy but they have a web site. Nice people and have always had what I needed or went out of there way to find it for me and I am in Texas. Hope this helps Jim.

If you do decide to replace the pump, try Ag Parts First, or Korves.

You don't need a water pump. You need a rebuild kit. If you can not find one call me back. I probably have enough parts on the shelf to rebuild one. No special tools but a small press does help. Questions?
