Well this has to be the most frustrating day I have had restoring my first tractor. I have oil leaking into the pto clutch area. I think it is coming from the seal in front of the pto drive gear. The top seal looks good. Well, I had a (explative deleted) time getting the spanner nut off of the gear hub. Who ever put it on last time staked it all the way around the nut. Could not budge it. It was totally folded down onto the final drive splines. I had to take a small grinder to it. Unfortunately, it looks like I damaged the drive gear end.... darn it. Well, it's a learning curve. I should have taken a torch to the nut and, that might have been better. I spent the whole afternoon taking a step backward. I'll have to remove the center frame and replace that gear.
