I have an oliver 60 that I thought was a four speed but I can't find the other two gears. I have 2 forward gears and 1 reverse. They are as follows R 2 | - | 1
My question is; is there 2 more gears I am missing or a high and a low? I really don't know what the shift pattern is. I know it's not like the 66 and 88 I had but can't figure it out. Thanks for any help. Have a nice day.

Early 60's were 4 speed. My book sez Std began 5 speed S/N 410511 & RC S/N 609931.

The shifter has 2 neutrals similar to Fleetlines. Also has middle neutral between to stop the belt pulley. My 4speed is somewhat hard to shift between the neutral positions. I just have to try several times to get things lined up and when they are it slides easily from one neutral to the other.

4 speed has R, 1, & 2 from upper neutral (R left forward, 1 left back, 2 right forward). 3 & 4 are from lower neutral (3 left back, 4 right forward).

5 speed is R1, 1, 2, 5 on upper neutral, R2, 3, 4, 5 on lower neutral. 60 did not have 6th like the Fleetlines.
