Has anyone ever changed there points to one of the electronic kits like the ones advertised here? I have the original distributor. What do I do with the vacuum advance? Thanks.

When we looked in to this it was not that much more to get a new distributor from agco then you would not have to wory about the botom whereing out but you would still have pionts
ov corse this would not work if you just want electronic ignition

Can I get more info on the electronic ingnition?
I have a 1850. It has a broken base plate and is hard to get the points adjusted.
