Hey, WFE! I see from "the board" that you are now the proud owner of a 2255 (one of my favorite tractors)! I am going to be in Southeast Minnesota during the first week of July, and would like to see your new purchase, along with your 1950-T, if possible. I haven't talked to you since the MN State Fair, some years back. Please drop me an e-mail!

Hello, j meyer! Are you still working at Kalmes Implement? When I was home three weeks ago, they had a "Help Wanted" sign in the window. I ran my buisness, "Altura Truck & Tractor" for 7 years. During that time, my partner Pat F. and I sold 50 engines. We installed 35 of them ourselves, mostly in 1755, 1855, and 1955 tractors. We sold 11 in Winona County. It was fun, for the most part, and I miss it at times. Pat was a super guy to work with, and does awesome work. My Dad owns the 2nd tractor we repowered, a 1950-T 4WD. I put a new Char-Lynn steering kit in it early this month. Big improvement! Have a great night!

Merlin- That sign has been in their window since I quit there at the end of the end of June last year. To be kind towards the former boss, it just wasnt working out, but I can tell you the real story in person. I guess I still feel as though I got squeezed out for whatever reason. Never-the-less, I work at SEMA in Wanamingo now, with a stop between at Marzolfs in Spring Valley. Being originally from Goodhue, I am glad to be back home:) I do plan on going to the Winona Co Fair for the tractor pull, and if you can make it, that would be great:) I best go. Regards, j meyer

Thanks for the message, j meyer! When is the tractor pull at Saint Charles? I haven't seen one there in years! You are welcome to e-mail me at my yahoo account. SEMA, huh? Don't they sell green and YELLOW tractors? (Actually, I just like farm equipment, even Deere!). Have a great weekend!
