Is is possible to determine the year of my Oliver based on the head number 191202 - K180A or Block number 190320. It is a diesel, I think it is a row crop 88. I need a rebuilt engine and have not been able to find one. If anyone has any info they can pass along, it would be appreciated. I have the engine apart, it is very used, may be hard to fix the parts I have.

190 320 is the Waukesha part number for your crankcase. There should be two more rows of nmbers below the one you listed. Second row is the Oliver part number and third is the date that the casting was poured in Charles City. As an example, my 660 crankcase is dated 11248 or November 24, 1958. The tractor was final assembled on January 17, 1959.
You will also find casting dates on the front frame located inside in the drive shaft area on the left hand side. The transmission housing also has a casting date on the bottom to the left hand side. This should give you a close build date for your tractor.
