Local ad.. OLIVER 440 farm tractor, Circa 1957 40 hp, runs but nds some TLC $1100. Tel: 604-541-0655

The horsepower is way off, but the price is right. Already gone when I called. Time to cry in my cornflakes.

Know how you feel- I've missed a few myself. Caught a good one once, tho- my high school buddy had a '58 Corvette, and wanted me to get one so we could do the "Route 66" thing. He found me a '59 for 800 bucks in 1974- then he sold his, I started having kids and tractors and horses, lost interest, and it sat in the barn (needed total restoration, but basically all there). Some guy talked me out of it for 12 grand a couple years ago. Did the only reasonable thing at that time- bought another tractor ;>)
