I am helping a good friend find parts to repair their Oliver Super 550 yr1964. The steering "sector and shaft, right" is bent and twisted. It is a short shaft with a half-gear. We have spoken with Oliver dealers and shops but no one seems to be able to find this part. We are in central Texas. We have spoken to Capital City Oliver in Austin, TX. They can find "left (full gear)" but not "right." The tractor sets in pieces until a good replacement is found. Any leads are appreciated.

there is a guy there in texas that has a salvage yard you could contact..i dont have his name or number as i had a puter crash and lost it..he is always selling stuff on ebay for 55 and 550 olivers..very nice guy and reasonably priced..i have bought several things from him..if you look up oliver on ebay you will find him..just email and im sure he can help you..sorry i have no number for you
