I have a friend who's looking for info / possible values for some old relics he has on hand.

1) 2 - HG42 Oliver "cletrac" crawlers with hyd. blade and lots of spare parts.

2) a Manley Wrecker Crane ( he said off an old model A wrecker). Ser #6364B made by American Chain Co, York Penna. Its all manual but still works. In the '80's he was still yarding wood with it.

Anyway, he's interested in selling them if they're worth anything. He lives in north-eastern Oregon. If anyone knows any info resources I could use in my search I would appreciate them.

Thanks, BOb

Halfway.

I don"t think they have been run for a few years since he quit cutting wood.

He doesn"t do computers so I"m doing the info searches for him.

I live near Salem, would be almost a 400 mile one way trip to check them out. Any idea what he is asking for the HG42?
Have been to Halfway but 50 yrs ago or more.

Thanks for the reply.

Somebody told him they were worth about 2,500 but I'm out here trying to find more info for him and whats realistic. There are two HG42s with lots of extra parts besides.

We're trying to find out about the Manley Wrecker Crane.

Another guy talked to me yesterday about finding Gibson tractor info. I guess I'll have to go take some pictures of everything and try and find a place to host them.

Thanks, Bob
